VideoDonor Mobile Andriod Apps for Organ Donation - repost by rayiendahkurnia

Project Description:
Mission
Our mission is to create an Apps that that lets users upload and share stories behind their decision to become donors and stories of those who are living donors who have received a “gift of life”.

Background
"As of 21 June 2013, there are 118,617 people waiting for life-saving organ transplants in the U.S. Of these, 96,645 await kidney transplants, and millions more around the world, are waiting for heart, kidney or liver transplants that will save their lives," the VideoDonor PR announcement reads. Many of those people – an average of 18 people per day - will die waiting, because there simply aren’t enough organ donors to meet the need. The demand for organs significantly surpasses the number of donors everywhere in the world.

Together we can change that.

Required App Features
Users will be able to watch thousands of remarkable, motivational, cute, comedy skits and inspirational clips and organ donation videos, register to become an organ donor on the main website.

With VideoDonor Andriod APP a user should be able to:
Upload video clips, create playlists, subscribe to users, create a custom channel and search for others, comment on videos, rate videos, share videos with friends via facebook, twitter or email.

The development is going to be funded by our supporters so every penny counts.

This project is a personal mission and a labor of love, to help many people on organ donation waiting lists in the UK and millions of others around the world.

Would like to have a discussion with perspective developers in relation to the brief before awarding any contract.
